About Zappa's Gear: This site is the home of 'Zappa's Gear', a book by Mick Ekers currently in the final stages of preparation. It will be published in early 2014 by Halden Books. The book is aimed at Frank Zappa fans with an interest in the guitars and equipment he used, and also at guitar and music equipment enthusiasts with an interest in Frank Zappa. The foreword is by Dweezil Zappa. The book will be initially produced in hardback format, containing 262 full colour A4 pages, with over 200 original photographs.
